 For pet owners, losing a beloved animal can be as heartbreaking as dealing with the loss of any other family member
Eternal Reefs now provides the same dignified, meaningful, environmental living memorial for pets that we provide for people. Named after Don Brawley's dog, "Pearl," The PEARLS Reef Ball design provides an affordable option exclusively for house pets. Families may choose from the same reef placement schedule and are encouraged to participate in the casting and viewing ceremonies as well as the placement ceremony of their pets memorial reef.
Eternal Reefs has frequently included pets with their companions when requested for an individual memorial. We will continue to provide this service with individual memorials. The PEARLS program has been established to meet the needs of pet owners who wish to choose the option for their pets. Since the placement of a black lab "Max" for the Huppert family in June 2002, the interest in pet reefs has continued to grow.
"Pets are one of very few things in life that show unconditional love, and losing that support can be difficult," says Don Brawley, founder, Eternal Reefs Inc. "Through the Pearls program, pet lovers can now provide a living legacy for their pet, as well as a contribution to our eco-system that will benefit future generations."
PEARL - The single PEARL Memorial Reef is designed to include normal sized house pets. It includes an engraved plaque mounted to the PEARL and two certificates identifying the exact GPS co-ordinates of the Memorial Reef. Families can select from any of our scheduled placements and can also participate in the casting and attend the placement of the Memorial Reef. PEARL: $895
